Very Nice Switch!

Anonymous, Newegg
8 November 2008
  • Summary: This is a Linksys Product, but its from the business line.
  • Pros: Its been very reliable and it is as fast as my Cisco Catalyst 2900 XL it replaced. Also its virtually silent due to its fanless design. a major plus if you use it in your house.
  • Cons: not really a con, but I do wonder about the heat under a full load.

Great Performance for the price

Richard M., Newegg
3 April 2007
  • Summary: Received this item very fast!
  • Pros: We used this switch to replace an old 3com 8 port hub. The immediatey performance gains made it feel like we went from dial up to Fiber optic. Highly recommended to boost the speed of your network.
  • Cons: Not quite sure we like the placement of the connections in the front of the unit. Would like to see more indicator leds.

  • Pros: No config, no fuss. Put it into your wiring closet and plug your patch panel in. Or use it as-is directly off your main WAN Firewall/Router. For "small business" or "large home" 100TX networks this will do the job painlessly. Runs cool with no moving parts (read: fans) to wear out. Duplexed speed...
