Summary: Easy to install and set up. I love that it has an option for fiber. Do note that you have to buy a gbic module to use the fiber. Also note that if you are using the fiber, you cannot use the ethernet port that is right next to it.
Summary: Absolutely no complaints. Took switch out of the box, did a basic configuration on it, and installed it in the wiring closet. Easy peasy, no problems whatsoever. It *is* a managed switch though (via the built-in web interface), so I wouldn't just take it out of the box and plug it into a network as-is...at least change the admin password!
Pros: Easy to configure and install.
Cons: Lots of rather obscure configuration options might be a minus for somebody who just wants a plug-n-play piece of hardware.
Summary: Installed with no problem. Does the job. We replaced our 6 year old switches which were still working, but are now our spares. With our phones (VOIP) now relying on our network, we needed a spare switch, and this one did a nice job or replacing the ones that are now spares.
