Summary: Good switch, but will take several attempts to get it right. As a Network Engineer went through the configuration and set for my network. But as soon as I connected it to the live network, it reset itself and didn't operate as programmed by me, Had to disconnect and start over. Example, PoE was programmed for one port, but switch allowed all after seeing network.
Great affordable POE enabled router, prefect for IP cameras. - SEE EDIT

Summary: I have purchased 10-15 of these so far and they have worked perfectly every time. I am using these for IP security cameras and they fit what I needed perfectly. The managed interface is nice to see whats going on if I have a camera go offline I can remotely power cycle the camera and such saving me a lot of time.
Currently in the market to replace these switched with a better reliable POE managed switch

Summary: High POE Failure rate... Have a small volume of these switches at two locations comprising a small business LAN supporting VOIP phones power by the POE (Power over Ethernet) ports... 7-10 switches ... have high failure rates of the POE ports, hence have to replace the switch to get the network phones back online... had 4-6 failures of these units over a 5 year period. Currently in the market to replace these switched with a better reliable POE managed switch...
Summary: I use this switch to run a multichannel POE HD camera setup with a PC. The initial setup with this switch took longer than I'd like to admit, but this is something that I see with just about every piece of network equipment from routers to cameras the first time they get hooked up. It just takes more work than it should to find their initial network location. I'm not a network engineer, and I don't want to learn anymore than I have to about the subject.
