Summary: Overall, the switch does what it says it will do. I am concerned that when I search the Cisco support site, the switch does not show up. Also the front of mine is a solid piece of metal, and does not show the lights that are shown here. The contained documentation is also lacking.
Summary: I didn't know the difference between a Managed and an Unmanaged Switch, so after doing a little research I found out most small businesses don't need the "Managed" switch. I bought the Unmanaged External, Cisco Small Business 100 Series 16-Port External Switch for a great price and it has worked out perfectly. Save yourself some money, the headaches and just buy an Unmanaged Switch.
Cons: I've had a cheap Ethernet switch that worked with Comcast because it doesn't try to assign new IP addresses for each ethernet outlet. Comcast has a restriction for only one IP address, this might apply to other internet service providers.
