Dale E. Elfes, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this specifically for the IPv6 support, only to find it did not support 6in4 tunneling. Returned.

Great Router with a Major Quirk

J. Radcliff, Amazon
15 April 2015
  • Summary: I've had this router for exactly 4 years. It has served me well, although I haven't even yet exercised the full power of the VPN and filtering capabilities of the unit. If it didn't have the following quirk I would give it 5 stars.

FAIL!!

Davey8385, Amazon
12 February 2015
  • Summary: Never have I bought anything with the CISCO brand that was such a complete failure. This item (we installed about 15 of them in 4 cities) failed in EVERY location and we have removed them ALL. I would love to have a time machine and go back and have a re-dux!!

Worst piece of junk ever.

Nicholas Ellis, Amazon
17 August 2014
  • Summary: I have run my own IT business for over 9 years now, and been in IT for 20. This router is perhaps the biggest piece of garbage I've ever used. It is riddled with flaws and oddities. I spent 10 hours yesterday trouble shooting why the stupid thing wouldn't obey ANY QOS settings.

Super fast

Clint Baxley "Truth Love Joy", Amazon
9 May 2014
  • Summary: Fast and easy to set up. Only non-wireless one I could find that could handle comcast 100Mbps+ speeds. I get 119Mbps on it, the same as if I was connected right into comcast. Turn off IPS if you want speed. I could not get more than 20Mbps with it on.

Awesome Cisco Router

James S., Newegg
9 February 2014
  • Summary: The other router I would buy is the one I would setup with Arch Linux O.S..
  • Pros: Works as expected for a Cisco router with just enough custom configurations.
  • Cons: The user interface ins't the best but it gets the job done

PosGuy "Robbie Stephenson", Amazon
30 January 2014
  • Summary: Provider said they were new with latest software. This was not accurate. I have 2 routers I cannot use at this time.

Used about 3 years now and still going great!

Fastphoto, Amazon
23 December 2013
  • Summary: I have used the Cisco RVS4000 on my network about 3 years now and still going great. It rates a 5 star but I do not love material things. I have a WHS v1 and 4 other client computers and I DO NOT forget to make a backup. The WHS handles that each and every day.

works fast

Glenn Linderman, Amazon
30 November 2013
  • Summary: This has been my main router for several years now, and I think I've only had to reboot it twice during operations. I do shut it all down at night, though.
