Not the best looking refurbished item I have ever seen, but it works.

Summary: Not the best looking refurbished item I have ever seen, but it works. All three of the ones I purchased were scratched up pretty badly. I already had three of these that I purchased new for different purposes, so I am familiar with what you get in the retail package. I purchased three of these refurbished units for the price of one new one. They came with Samsung power supplies and what looks like a home burned CD, but they worked well enough.
Summary: I bought this router to upgrade from my Netgear N300 router. This router is great for large homes, can hook up many devices simultaneously. The only bad thing is you may have to "turn off, turn on" the router b/c sometimes it won't recognize the network; it doesn't take long to reboot may take up to 30 seconds.Overall great buy!!!
Summary: Picked up this router to replace a WRT-54G2 a few months ago and have been quite pleased with the upgrade so far. No issues with the unit being refurbished. It was nicely packaged, clean, and most importantly fully functional. The simultaneous dual-band is useful if I start getting lag or dropping connectivity I can switch over to the 5GHz band and it clears right up.
Summary: The Linksys E3000 Simultaneous Duel Band Router is one of the best routers that Linksys ever made. Not only is it a good performer it has a Broadcom chipset in it which allows the availability of after market firmware installation. The options for this router not only allow you to install DD-WRT, but Tomato as well. Once after market firmware is installed you can use this router as a Bridge, Repeater, Access Point, or standard router.
Summary: I flashed with a Tomato build (Tomato Firmware v1.28.7500 MIPSR2Toastman-VLAN-RT K26 USB VPN-NOCAT). Like others, found that the unit ran hot. Added some rubber feet (1/2" in front, 1" in back) and noticed it ran a lot cooler. Great wireless for my 2,000 sq ft ranch. I don't use it as a firewall as I have another firewall (Cisco ASA). I use multiple SSIDs and VLANs for my labs and guest. No problems with connecting 4 laptops and two iPhone simultaneously.
Summary: This is a great router. very stable. I have 2 of these and both run constantly. I have, over the years, bought many routers but all have eventually given grief by intermittently losing the internet. These routers never need rebooting and I have had 1 for about 2 years.
