The Cisco Linksys E1000 is a wireless-N router that supports 2.4 GHz bandwidth for up to 300 Mbps of transfer speeds between computers, game consoles and other Wi-Fi devices. The router features Cisco Connect software which has three steps to get the device set up and secure the Wireless-Network for operation. Users can utilize simple to advanced settings via its interface and customize their settings, add multiple Internet devices to the network, create a separate, secure, password protected network for guests; limit access time and websites with Parental Controls and access advanced network settings. The Cisco Linksys E1000 also features WPA/WPA2 Personal and WPA /WPA2 Enterprise security features, and has Gigabit Ethernet ports for file sharing between other Gigabit-enabled devices like media servers, hard drives and computers.
