Summary: I've had this router for 2 years and it connects at such slow speeds that I bought a wireless N access point for my wireless connections. My wireless N devices connect to this router at 40-70Mbs. I have my access point next to the router and the devices connect to it at 300Mbs.
Summary: When I tried to set up a secure network using this router, I got the message "Operating system unsupported." The info when I bought it was "OSX 10.7 or later". I am using OSX 10.8.3 and this version is "unsupported." The router would work without a secure network, but that was not what I needed.
Summary: Been using various models of Linksys routers through the years. I especially purchased the E1550 because the (Amazon) ad copy said the usb port could be used as a print server-plug-in a usb printer to make it available on your network!
Summary: Product did not work well for me. Would check to make sure everything else was working (ie internet cables etc etc) and everytime came back to problems w router. Would fix it and then wouldn't work again, over and over and over.
Summary: I hate this product. It wasn't reliable for me and didn't work consistently at all for any of my IT friends who would troubleshoot the dang thing either. Looking forward to relaxing and watching favorite show on IPad app...?? Nope. Forget it!! Not working again. Internets fine on its own.
Summary: I expected to be able to have a network printer on this but it does not. Its what you get for that money, but other than that its a goot router. I can limit mac addresses, and it's stable i have had no problems with it :)
