it works fine for my Cisco 7962

drgncabe, Amazon
14 January 2015
  • Summary: While it's not an original power supply, it works fine for my Cisco 7962. Also doesn't get near as hot as the official cisco power brick my other 7962 has.

Deceiving Description

Nichol Evensen, Amazon
3 November 2014
  • Summary: This is not a Cisco product as the description leads you to believe. It is a TriW product. Also the power cable comes with the power supply. The description did not clearly state this nor did the picture display this. So I bought a power cable that I did not need.

I am NOT pleased with this seller or item

Brian Cunningham, Amazon
28 July 2014
  • Summary: Cisco ASA5505-PWR-AC Power Adapter for ASA 5505 Router by Cisco Ships from and sold by GENUINE-HARDWARE. This is NOT by Cisco, this is NOT a genuine part. Be aware that condor makes this product. Another 1 start thing to note is the power cable that shipped with it is wrapped in about 4 rubber bands and a zip tie. It has the sticker removed and made most of the cord sticky... I am NOT pleased with this seller or item.

OK, but wrong power cord on one....

Doda McCheesle "Doda", Amazon
17 July 2014
  • Summary: These power supplies are what you should come to expect nowadays in a typical cheaper Chinese made knockoff. They're OK. The only issue I had was that one of the power supplies came with a power cord for some eastern European country, and I'm in the USA. Luckily the cords are the standard type that you use with computers and most pro network equipment, so I had a spare lying about... Only had the supplies for a few days so I can't mention yet reliability.

Beware that this is not a genuine Cisco part

NGW, Amazon
26 December 2013
  • Summary: Although the product name and description indicate it is a genuine Cisco power supply (Cisco ASA5505-PWR-AC), what I received is a 3rd-party product. According to the label on the supply, it is manufactured by Condor, part number STD-4813P. That being said, the power supply seems to be working. It is currently connected to an ASA5505 and it is running normally.
