Perfect and dead easy for what I wanted to use it for.

Hollyecho Montgomery "Hollyecho Montgomery", Amazon

  • Summary: I got this router for one reason and one reason only. It is to be an access point with ports, connected to the main modem/router from the office 300 feet away. The EXTREMELY easy with switch in back for bridge mode made this perfect, so perfect in fact that I installed it that way in my daughters...

  • Summary: I work with computers and generally dislike the limited proprietary firmwares that come with many routers. I had heard of Buffalo before but not worked with them, so I gave this one a shot.

  • Summary: Overall i am really impressed with how nice this router is designed and works. I'd recommend this brand to anyone. I'm curious now how the higher end models work. I like the minimalist packaging and flat cable that came with the device as well.
  • Pros: Flipping to bridge mode with only a switch is pretty nice Range is pretty good even though there's no antennas Lots of features, and very easy to configure using the wizard. Like how the put the client access and reset information in a slot under the device. DD-WRT compatible Stays Cool Never had...
  • Cons: Like many others I don't understand the price and lack of 1000Mps ports, but its still really fast. this is the only reason I removed 1 egg. No IEEE 802.11ac No 5Ghz band (not a fan of the 5Ghz though with the lack of distance on all routers) No wall mounting but the design with the foot built in...

  • Summary: We are so far very pleased with this purchase. We have been using it for about a month now and except for an issue with our actual internet provider, this router has done well!! We get awesome reception and it has no problem keeping up with our some times 16 devices running WI-FI at once.
