Excerpt: Outlet works great, just plug to your wall outlet and setup your router. Be ware when buying the wall switch, check your existing wall switch be sure you have a neutral wire in the electrical switch box first. You don't have it, will not work.

Summary: The initial setup was easy and the scheduling worked well but it became frustrating when the WeMo app would randomly insist it couldn't see the switch on the local wi-fi network and I would have to change to 3G just to turn it on or off.
Summary: Needed something more than a timer. Wanted to switch things on at home whilst I am on the move, out of the home, this is the best solution. You can set things to operate between sunrise and sunset, timed, motion and remotely.
Summary: use the Belkin Wemo switch to control lighting in my Home , excellent for when travelling , or just control lighting remotely would recommend to other will be purchasing further Belkin Wemo product in the future , like the Belkin switch , Motion sensor
Summary: I found these cumbersome to set up initially (i have 4 switches). also suffers from flaky connectivity through the app; sometimes they grey out, sometimes they don't show up on the list, sometimes they are unresponsive... and sometimes they work!
Summary: Let's start with the good bits. Easy set up. iPhone app is good. Works well (to start with). So far so good... but it just stops working after a few days. I get it working nicely one weekend and by the following weekend it just isn't picked up by the iPhone app any more.
Summary: Just received this WeMo switch and have tried to set it up. ...BUT it will not connect to a network where the WPA pass phrase contains spaces. You get an error advising you of this. Come on Belkin, you really have to be kidding me.
Summary: Bought 3 of these at the same time. The setup was very easy BUT it takes time and test your patience and numerous trials .... 1) I have to power off my iphone and restart 3 times 2) Close wemo app and re run it again at least 30 to 40 times 3) reboot my Bell router 3 times 4) delete the wemo app...
