Excerpt: I found the installation to be confusing and the instructions where incomplete. nothing to check on if you had questions or troubleshooting. I would not buy another Belkin router even though my previous one was a Belkin and great this was not worth money. Should have checked around. I am very computer savey so I do know my way around and this should have been and easy install rather than over an hour working with a single page of instructions on a piece of cardboard that...
NMy experience is that N is not all it's cracked up to be...

Summary: Ok the router is good for the money. Butttt we upgraded our network from G to N and did NOT receive any additional distance in terms of coverage. In fact we experienced a reduction in distance(so our far reaching bedroom went from weak to no signal). I ended up buying two routers and have one wired to the other side of the house to act as an access point.
Summary: I have upgrade from a Linksys G router (used for 4 years) to Belkin Dual Band N600 router and hope to have faster speed. I have total 5 computers, PS3 and 2 IPAD. Only the IPAD and the IBM Thinkpad X60 pick up both band and connect to 5G. Others using the same 2.4 G. Not any surpise compare with previos G Router which connect in similar speed. I have the cable package with 20M download plan. I don't feel the money well spend as all seems remain the same.
Cons: I was under the impression the new router was faster so I did a before and after speedtest, I got a baseline of 4.5mb/s download speed-speedtest.net. When I switched the router to the new Belkin n600 it dropped to 2mb/s.
Excerpt: Instructions were not so clear that I could understand them. Called Customer Service, got a foreign speaking person who did not help me, confused me more, and sounded like she didn't know how to fix the problem. I had to hire someone to come out and set it up. Why can't things be simple for the novice, as well as those with expertise. It finally works, and does keep me connected, but the frustration experienced really did me in.
Cons: Couldn't understand Rep, Difficult To Set Up, Had to pay to get connect, Horrible customer support
