Summary: Painfully underpowered in every way. Its one selling point is a very easy setup. But it can't sustain strong internet beyond fifty feet. If we were lucky enough to have our cable modem in the center of our (small) house, this wouldn't be a problem, but when the cable at one end, and the router can't project through two rooms consistently. Just no.

Summary: I thought this router was good until I realized that only hardwired computers are able to receive the full download speed from my Internet provider. For example, my desktop gets about 93 mbps download speed with an Ethernet connection. However, the wireless devices in the house (laptops, iPhone, iMac, etc.) can only receive about 10 - 12 mbps download speed - even if only one device is connected via wireless and the others are not. I tried both bands - no difference.
Excerpt: I purchased this router to replace my old Netgear N300. I chose this one because of the parental controls, which allow you to set time limits per device. However, the parental control settings would just "disappear" - usually when it was time for them to kick in. Belkins solution is to restart the router, no real fix. I really don't want to be bothered having to check everyday if the settings are still there.
Excerpt: We bought this router because our Linksys, of 8 years,finally gave out. When the Belkin works it's great and fast. But we keep loosing connection. I thought maybe that it was just my computer but my husband has the same problem on his computer. You'll be working just fine and then all of a sudden no internet connection which is very annoying.
Summary: Poor technical support. After applying parental control and content filters, I could no longer see any devices on the Parental Internet Control page. No support agent was available for a support chat session. My e-mail explaining the problem received no response. The first time I called, the agent had me return the settings to factory values, which appeared to fix the problem. However, when I applied controls and filters again the same problem occurred.
