Summary: This is a great price for the specs it has but the firmware and software that is default on this is just terrible. I had all sorts of connectivity issues with signal drops and slow performance. However once I installed DWRT it has performed great and all the signal drops have gone away. The only issue now is that the signal strength isnt very good. I live in a studio and I have placed this in a cabinet and from even 15 feet away I get only 3 bars which I think is poor.
Summary: A lot of reviews on this are from very old firmwares. You have two options. 1. Install the latest Belkin drivers. 2. Install dd-wrt and get an awesome router for a great price. It takes about 30 minutes of googling and installing, but is far worth it.
Summary: MODEL #: I suggest anyone purchasing this router check their model number as versions of this router are visually identical and thus easily mixed up. I found it most clearly labeled on the underside of the foot of the router. Just flip it over and take a look. The model sold is: F7D4301 The model I received was: F7D3301 These are very similar routers and look identical.
Works well with ddwrt but range has more to be desired

Summary: I haven't tried the stock firmware, but did flash it with ddwrt. I agree with most reviewers that the reception is pretty bad, so don't expect it to cover a lot. The range for me is about 25-50 feet through one wall. That's enough for what I need it for. With ddwrt, the functionality is great. It makes the router fast with a lot of features.
Summary: I've had the router for a few days now. I installed tomato firmware on the router as soon as I got it, and it seems to be working fine. I'm quite happy with what I got and the price I paid for it.
Summary: I bought this about 10 days ago, and I use this Item like for 10hrs aday and facing no trouble. The only reason behind buying this product is; I've seen too many negative comments and said I am gonna buy this and take the whole responsibilities..... and now the product is well running no issues.
Summary: It's not perfect, of course, but for 30 bucks, it's pretty close. Don't expect to find another N600, simultaneous Dual-Band router with Gigabit Ethernet for that price! I didn't even mess with the stock firmware, just put DD-WRT mini on it straight out of the box (using the stock firmware's GUI), then upgraded to mega, and it's been running solid, consistent, and incredibly fast for three days now.
