Summary: I am an experienced network engineer by trade so my issues with this are unlikely to be user error. It was a big mistake to buy this product. I bought this for my home network to replace an old Linksys WRT54G router to take advantage of the newer wireless technologies. This router is a lot cheaper than the Linksys with comparable features and I figured Belkin was a pretty good name so I bought it. Big mistake. Setup wasn't a problem, pretty straightforward.
Summary: First time to have this kind of router, It's not really a plug and play. You have to pay the Technician if you happen to have a problem after 90 days. And when calling their CS, wait time takes 2-3 hrs.
Summary: This review is just to caution Belkin router users. We accidentally reset our Belkin router (pushing the "reset" button) and called Belkin customer service to help us reprogram our router so we could use our many Wi-Fi devices. After a LENGTHY session with folks in India that looked like it might help us, the Belkin employee said that to go farther to "fix the problem" it would cost us $119. We ended the call.
Belkin wanted an Upfront Payment before it would Help Me

Summary: I will never again buy a Belkin product. I had a Belkin wireless router which worked fine but when my internet speed was upgraded and I was given a new modem, it wouldn't connect to my router. The connecting directly from the modem to the computer was fine So it was a problem with the Belkin router. I tried to fix it myself but after an hour or two, gave up and called the Belkin customer service line. And that was a SHAKE DOWN.
Summary: You need to flash padavan firmware with this. The belkin firmware is a POS. I had this router sitting under dust because I couldn't put DD-WRT or Tomato on it and thought I'd look if custom firmware was possible for this. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Padavan, and it changed my experience completely. I currently have this connected to the 5ghz band repeating the 2.4ghz band at full speed. Amazing piece of device so far. Been running about a year or more and no problems.
Pros: Can flash Padavan, act as repeater for 2.4 and 5ghz bands, great range on device with the 2.4ghz band
Summary: After reading the reviews, I was hesitant the purchase this item.. I was primarily concerned about the reviews that said they had trouble with maintaining a connection. I went ahead and bought it, as my last router was a Belkin. I have been pleasantly surprised with how well it works. No connection problems at all. The price was great too. I would definitely recommend this product..
Summary: This model (F9K110) is not the gigabit model. It seems that NCIX has mixed up this model with this one: (F9K1103). The LAN ports are not gigabit. Otherwise, a decent buy. The 5ghz range is quite limited to almost line of sight use.
