  • Summary: I bought this new "older technology" router(came out in 2008), mainly because of the good reviews on signal strength. After setup, found signal good near router, but move more than 25 feet away and signal very weak. Tried data speedtest at different distances, very poor after 25 feet. Used my 5th gen iPod touch & my Android phone(wifi), got same results with both devices. I returned it yesterday to my nearest Walmart.

  • Summary: It wouldn't work out of the box. I called technical support for help. They refused to help unless I paid $39.95 up front. They said it was an old model, that the firmware needed to be updated for it to work and that technical support is no longer complementary on this product, even though it says it is in the instructions. Disbelieving, I hung up and called back, twice, only to be told the same thing again and again. I'll never buy another Belkin product in my life.

  • Summary: This router did not work well for my system. Using this router to receive a signal from a HughesNet Modem. We have two computers running from this. One is a Desktop and the other is a laptop. Both are running on Windows 7. It appears this router is not the best choice for Windows 7. Didn't install real easy and kept losing the signal. I returned it and purchased a Belkin 600-N which seems to be working much better at this time.

  • Summary: I have been using an old Belkin router for almost 5 years without any problem. I thought it was time to update to a new one and use the old router as a backup. Not a good decision. I could not get my Toshiba laptop to connect to the router unless I was in the same room. I spent over 2 1/2 hours with tech support with a a person who was difficult to understand and he finally transferred me to a supervisor.
