Summary: Purchased a Belkin router per advise of TWC. Each time we have a storm, the router goes out. I have now been on hold for an hour and cannot get any contact with the Belkin service center, for which I have paid for "an extented warranty". Bad investment; would NEVER purchase again.
Summary: This is my first wireless router and works great for my needs. I have a PC, netbook, smart phone, tablet, wireless printer, and Wii using it in my (small) home. Is it the best router on the market? No, probably not, but I have had great luck with it, especially with the netbook (which is what I use primarily). It never drops a connection on the Wii, netbook, or smart phone.
Summary: I sincerely regret buying this product. With all the trouble it has caused me, I should have just spent more money on a router that actually WORKS. It is CONSTANTLY dropping the signal, as in several times per day. Some days, it will drop the signal every 5 minutes. It is ridiculous. At first, I thought it was my internet service provider. However, after troubleshooting with them for over an hour, we confirmed that the problem is with the Belkin router.
Summary: Easy to install but it gets disconnected very often. Customer service does not help. I bought this product in May 2012 and I have called Customer Service 3 times!! Save your money. Don't buy this product NO COMPREN ESTE ROUTER!! ES TERRIBLE!!
Summary: This product was bought to improve upon an existing router and result was the same, no improvement. Nothing really wrong with the product and I am not suprised, now I have a backup of the same strength.
Summary: I bought this router a year ago and after about six months began having trouble with it. Whenever a device would connect to the router, the device would not have internet access for several minutes--it would just hang, "waiting" for a website, to get email, etc. This was true whether I was using my Macbook Pro, iPhone, iPad, or Windows XP laptop.
Summary: The router continues to drop connections (both wired and wireless) and goes offline every 20 to 30 minutes. It is extremely annoying and requires a hard reboot to bring it back up. The router does have the latest firmware and in most cases one or devices are connected to it. Resetting to factory defaults, applying the latest firmware levels does not fix the issue. I would recommend passing on this router.
