Summary: I received the router well packed (using bubble wrap etc) from flipkart. I use Tata DoCoMo 3G on a Huawei E177 dongle. I set it up using the following process: 1. Follow the basic process mentioned in the router's quick start guide (connect the router to your computer using the ethernet cable, connect the router to power using its adapter OR the usb cable powered by your computer) 2. Open the Router setup page at 192.168.1.1/index.asp?flag=Connect 3.
Summary: I am using Reliance Netconnect+ on this. It was pretty easy to set-up from manual. just follow 4 steps as given in there. Device is smaller than a generic nokia mobile and quite a good range for home use. And guess what, it will not be wasted if you give up your datacard subscription, beacause it also functions as normal router, access point, repeater etc. I love its portability. It also comes with nice soft bag for it.
Summary: Using from last 4 months thought writting review bit later, but can judge and write a review better after 4 months of use, use it as a access point works like a charm, and work allmost with all 3g modems. though this device have bit of auto disconnection issue once in a while which happened few times, though updated the firmware but still face same issue once in a while which is bit odd rest apart from that its a worth device work fine with airtel broadband and also with...
Summary: Very easy to use, and very handy. Works with my airtel 3g dongle. I just put the same settings as in my airtel 3g dongle pc software and it works great. The browser interface is good. Till date ASUS networking products I bought like wi-fi dongles, routers have worked well for me, and are compatible in most platforms with very easy installation
Summary: Its very good device for 3G/CDMA data card. Very easy to configure and its just not 3G router. Its having 6in1 features. Range is also good compare to other product available in market. Its doesn't have internal battery even-though its much better than others. Worth of buying. I recommend not to feel repent on purchase.
Summary: 5 on 5 !!! Awesome product solved all my network problems. Doesn't matter what type of internet connection or modem you have it can turn it into a wifi connection. And not to forget the product it really tiny and sleek. As they say "big things come in small packages" !!!
Summary: Got this one last night only. Perfect for 3G sharing though I can see lot many options in the console which I have not explored yet. I saw lot of posts suggesting putting in the username/pswd/PIN/Dial in etc. I have Airtel 3G (HUAWEI E173 series) datacard and those setting didnt work. For Airtel 3G: Just select Airtel from provider drop down and it should reflect airtelgprs.com in address and *99# in dial.
Summary: Finally bought it, couldn't resist! Very useful & handy especially if you are traveling or want to experiment. It can work on USB power. Doesn't cost much considering it's 6-in-1 features. For home use, it's limited because it doesn't come with multiple Ethernet ports. In that case, it's better to pickup a regular wireless router. One point to note is that this particular piece which got delivered to me came with 1.2.0 firmware.
Summary: I searched for this router in many stores but none of them had it and many of them even said that there isn't any such router supporting 3G data cards. This router is amazing, very compact (I wonder why the other routers are so bulky) and has so many options like LAN, 3G data card, hotspot sharing, repeater etc. I do not think that I need to mention more of this as the description on Flipkart is amazing.
