A great dual port router. This is what you expect from asus.
Summary: This router does exactly what I wanted it for. I have desktop pc and my wife has a tablet with Wi-Fi. With my old router when she was online I had no speed on mine. This dual port router was the answer. Now we both can enjoy the internet.
Summary: I had donated all my old routers to a charity thrift store. Then we had 2 very close lightening strikes within 3 weeks of each other. We had TVs and routers fried by the surge. So I had to buy yet another router. I like the look of this, how easy it was to set up, and it's very light. The blue lights are cool but very bright at night. I just turned it to face the wall on my desk to lessen the effect.
Summary: One router for my house to access internet for laptops all over the house, Tivo's on 2 floors and signal strength is good. I had hoped for more than 47% from the furthest point but it is still causing no issues.
Excerpt: I have a to say that this router is the best router I ever bought. Even the extra enternet cable is high quality. I have three routers going on at the same time and I don't get any lag. When playing video games.
Summary: Besides the fact that this router is awesome looking, it also performs that way. Set up is very easy and if you have any confusion just refer to the users manual. It is laid out very well. It simply walks you through step by step, no hassle. I noticed an instant improvement of performance over my outdated router that was cheap to begin with. For the price, I doubt you could find a better product.
Summary: Device freezes and needs to be power cycled once or twice a day. Replaced once with same model. The second device failed with the same problems. I got a different brand the third time. Could have been a really great product with its feature set and looks. Too bad there's something not right on the inside that makes it crash. NCIX was good about the exchange.
Pros: Smart looking device, small and compact, cool status LEDs, simple installation, doesn't install junk software on your PC.
Summary: so used to the linksys routers that it shard to find my way around but overall the interface is so much nicer. The router itself is not the prettiest girl at the dance but still doesnt look cheap. its very small and seems well built. I wouldnt say as much about the stand which i was afraid i would break when trying to put them together. setup was very easy, speeds are good. i didnt do any specific tests but did not notice a better connection in my house.
Pros: small, easy to use, nice interface
Cons: cannot find a way to use the VPN im paying for
Summary: It didn't have any range advantage over single band N and it wouldn't work with my HD Homerun prime time wireless TV box. I can say that I liked the way it looked and appreciated the fact that it had no blinking lights.
