Works as advertized. A unique combo modem / router that does the job.
7 January 2012
Summary: The modem/router combination is unique and works as advertized. I am running 2 computers, a lap top, and a printer. I connected to my Dish Network DVR to down load movies. So far it has not missed a beat.
Summary: The Actiontec is a great replacement for my crappy 2wire modem/router from AT&T. No more 2 or 3 attempts to get a web page to load. The Actiontec features and firewall are better too but you may need to do a lot of tweaking of the firewall because it really locks things down (which is a good thing).
Summary: I purchased this to replace my SBCGlobal wireless DSL modem/router. We always had such splotchy service with it and it was super annoying. The service would cut in and out all the time. This Actiontec wireless router has worked seamlessly!
Summary: What a wonderful modem, it is a lot faster than the one AT&T gave me. My web pages loads now, no waiting. I have not tried the wireless yet, and like others has said it is simple to set up.
Summary: I researched for a wireless router that would work with AT&T's service (theirs had terrible reviews). But this Actiontec one had good reviews on Amazon and I found it cheaper on Ebay. I've got it installed and I am very happy with it.
Summary: I was never happy with my AT&T DSL service until I bought the Actiontec GT724WGR Wireless Router. I had the standard AT&T 2Wire DSL Gateway Model 2701, and it made web browsing a painfully slow experience. There were constant DSL signal errors, and several times a day the DSL signal would drop out.
Summary: Using this REV C with a Rev D as a MOCA for my Blueray Player to get on Netflix by ethernet rather than wireless. Had some trouble getting it to work at first, fault was with internet instructions. It kept causingwireless devices to disconnect.
