Excerpt: This is a great scope for the money. Excellent scope for a rimfire rifle, as the parallax adjusts down to 15'! This scope has stiff adjustments but, in a good way as it shows the construction is solid and not sloppy. The illuminated portion of the reticle with the mil-dots look a little fuzzy to me but, I have bad eyes so it is more than likely me because the glass looks clear at all magnification settings.
Excerpt: I'd like to start by saying this is no Swarovski. But if you're buying an $85 scope, then you're probably not looking for world class clarity. What this is; is an excellent dollar for dollar scope. I had it on a mini-14 and it consistently held a zero for hundreds of rounds. Not to mention being dropped, and resting on the passenger seat of my truck for months on end.
Excerpt: I have this scope on a .22 and a .17 HMR and they both work great. Field of vision is clear, no appreciable distortion. Both hold zero well. Realize, you're paying less than $100 for this scope; don't expect the quality and reliability of $1000 scope, but with Tasco's lifetime warranty, it's hard to go wrong with this for plinking and shooting varmints that don't shoot back ;)
Excerpt: This scope is almost junk. I put it on a .308 and tried to sight it in at 100 yards. I say tried because it would not hold zero, and the top turret adjustment knob came off. The eye relief is crappy and I plan on re-gifting it to an uncle I really don't like. Steer clear of this one.
Excerpt: I wasn't sure what to expect in a scope for 80 bucks. I have to say I'm impressed. This scope is great its clear all the way to 24x and its held zero after 200 rounds and counting with my Remington 700 SPS in .308. I'm looking into an SS 10x42 but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this scope to any one on a budget.
