Summary: I started out with this scope with the BRX reticle, but after receiving the scope decided it was too thin for my eyes. I found the BRH to a perfect fit for me and much better in low light as well. One thing I wish was different would be that it have more windage adjustment. 12.5" each direction from center is not very much adjustment when compared to most other brands. If any component isn't completely true it can make it impossible to dial in the scope.
Summary: Whoever designed this thinks and sees like I do. This is a phenomenal optical instrument, precision, refined yet rugged. the BRX reticle allows me to estimate POI instantly visually, without "doping the scope" This is the scope I've been looking for, for decades. I'm using this for pest control beyond 200 yards, and this item delivers. My other distance oriented glass (leupold, nikon,) is likely going to end up on eBay..... as my mind has been stretched by Swarovski.
Summary: This scope is by far the best piece of glass I have ever hunted with! You can obtain a clear sight picture at night... The light gathering ability of the Swarovski Z5 is freakishly superb. Cry once when you make the purchase and grin ear to ear every time you look through the scope!
Summary: Swarovski once agin delivers, the clarity is second to none from the lowest setting to the highest setting this product is amazing! Yes they are expensive, some will say over priced, but when your in the field and you need your optics to get to 500 yards +, you will certainly be glad you have this scope & the last thing you will think of is cost! I would NOT hesitate to buy another swarovski for my long range needs.
Pros: Quality products required for long range hunting
Summary: First Swarovksi I've purchased and really a very nice scope. The field of vision is quite large as would be expected, and is way brighter than that of the Leupolds I've used previously, and on a par with a couple of Zeiss scopes I have. Even with the 52MM objective size, the scope clears a varmint weight Remington 700 barrel with ease with Talley high mounts, and might even clear with medium mounts.
Excerpt: Just set this on my wby accmark mag mark5 [9lug] , used talley one piece rings [high]. Easy enough for a diy mount. Took it to the range and i must tell ya, that ballistic turret takes the cake...once you sight the rifle at 100 yds, there's no stoppin ya hittin 200,300,400, 500 and anything in between. Cristal clear image, good eye relief, nice magnification range. BUY IT!!!
Pros: Accurate, Adequate Power, Clear , Easy To Adjust, Easy To Install, Rugged
