Summary: Expensive, but definitely the best rice cooker I have ever owned. This machine takes all the guesswork out of making rice. The best part is that it does not burn the rice on the bottom because the induction heat comes from around the bowl rather than from underneath it. The bowl is very heavy weight rather than thin, lightweight aluminum like the other brands have. The markings on the inside of the bowl for water are very easy to read and precise.
Summary: Zojirushi has the best line of rice cookers and products on the market! And this one is by far my favorite!!! I have kept rice in it for over 36 hours and the rice tasted like it was just made! Have no been disappointed with this purchase!!!
Summary: I don't know why there are no reviews since this model should already be around for a while. We bought one from a local store last August. One week ago it suddenly stopped working with no reason. The power cord did easily come loose and needed to be replugged into the cooker from the beginning of the usage. Now we need to pack this heavy baby and send it to the nearest service center, at our own cost.
Summary: I bought this expensive rice cooker for 14 months and it stopped working suddenly without any reason. The warranty is one year and it did work well in the warranty and only worked two months more than the warranty. It was too bad experience for me. I will not try any more. I am not sure whether getting it fixed will cost more than a new one or not.
Summary: This was a Christmas gift to my daughter and she is absolutely in love with it. Of course it cooks more than rice but rice is all she seems to care about. It was a great gift. Zojirushi makes some fantastic products.
