Summary: I took this rice cooker as a fact to avoid teflon coated rice vessel. It cooks rice well but a layer of rice at the bottom gets hard and have to thrash it. brown rice takes long time to cook. steaming works good. cleaning is easy
Summary: Very pleased with this rice cooker. Both white and brown rice comes out perfect every time. Brown rice can take up to two hours, but it is so convenient to set up and just leave it that the two hours go by unnoticed.
Slow-Cooker version! But is a good product nonetheless.

Summary: It's a nice product and achieves what we want it to do. But why 3 stars? It's a slow-cooker version of a rice cooker and takes just too long to cook (brown) rice. If you're the type who eats rice on a special occasion, or want the rice to start cooking before you leave for work, and ready by the...
Summary: I love my rice cooker- NO PLASTIC!!!! however my main goal was for steaming veggi's and this is on the small side for what I wanted, It barely holds one head of fresh broccoli:( the best part about this cooker is that I can put rice in it before I take the kids to practice and it will cook and keep...
Summary: We LOVE this rice cooker! It is compact and fits nicely on our small apartment counter. Steamer works well. And the best part which most rice makers don't have is the "Saute-then-Simmer" option. User tip: Using the micro-wave to re-heat rice ruins it.
Finally, Stainless Steel Rice Maker That Makes Excellent Brown Rice

Summary: Finally, an all stainless steel rice maker that delivers!! I've tried numerous stainless steel rice makers which either don't make good tasting rice or rice sticks to the bottom. This rice maker has a special brown rice setting that does an excellent job at cooking brown rice.
Summary: Now I have had this steamer for half a year or so. The more I use it, the more I hate it because it sputters rice vapor out the hole in the lid. Everything in the surrounding area becomes coated with a thin layer of wet rice water, which solidifies to a sticky rice layer.
Summary: I cook a lot of rice. This works great. I add a little EVOO to the bottom, swirl it around before adding the rice and it doesn't stick too bad. I even have used it for box rice too......quick and easy. I didn't want something with the teflon and was afraid to try the clay bc I am rough on things.
Summary: I bought this and then was out of town for 2 months and when I returned tried to use it for the first time but it did not work. Was unable to return it becasue the time for returns had expired. I am not very happy with this.
