Summary: Why do they mention 20 cups of cooked rice instead of 10 cups of rice??? They sell 11 cookers at amazon by titles of 10 cups & 20 cups... they all produce 20 cups of cooked rice. Why not just categorize them all by 10 cups? Also I haven't measured cooked rice... but very much doubt if it is 20 cups!

Summary: I have on myself and just bought my daughter-in-law one for Christmas since she is Asian and rice is served at every meal. The price was also cheaper than the store and the free shipping was fantastic.
Summary: Cooking rice is a tricky task with unpredictable outcomes. My teen-age sons like short-grain white rice, but only when cooked to the level of perfection achieved, for example, at Tachibana, a local Japanese restaurant. The Aroma delivers.
Summary: The size of this cooker is fine, and the finished product is wonderful as well, however, it takes AN HOUR for it to heat up to even start cooking. So to make brown rice takes two hours, if I haven't planned ahead.
Summary: I purchased this product a few months ago and used it no more than 10 times. I may have gotten a defective one. But the last time I used this rice cooker, it burned the rice AND the pot and completely stopped working.
Summary: My wife is asian so we cook alot of rice..and we eat alot of rice. Our staple food is Jasmine Rice from Thailand..in 20 pound bags. We go through 2 bags a month. Ive owned a arc-930 for over 10 years now. In the 10 years,.,.Ive replaced the pot (wore out of course) 2 times.
Summary: I am a cooking novice. I have used the rice cooker now about 10-15 times and the rice has been great every time. That should be worth 5 stars alone. The one gripe I have is no indicator to give an approximation of when the rice will be done.
