Summary: My original review was a 1 egg because the unit died so quickly. This review is for their CS which is easily 5 eggs.
Pros: Their customer service responded to my emails very quickly and sent out a replacement completely free of charge. They did not even ask for the burnt up unit back. This may have been the easiest CS I have ever dealt with in my life.
Summary: Zojirushi NP-HBC10 5-1/2-Cup (Uncooked) Rice Cooker and Warmer with Induction Heating System, Stainless Steel This is the Zojirushi I have at home. According to Amazon, we bought this in October 2011. Every day, sometimes twice a day, we need to cook a full pot of brown rice.
Summary: Bought this for my stepson because my husband and I have enjoyed the same model for the past 5 years. The rice comes out exactly how you want it (more water equals sticky rice, less for firm rice). I love the set it and forget it.
Summary: This rice cooker is a staple in my kitchen. I've had this one for about 3 years and it's still going strong. I use the cup that comes with the rice cooker to do rice/water measurements and the rice comes out perfectly done every time.
Summary: The Good - cooks rice nicely, although there is a tendency for the rice to form a clump at the bottom. The Bad - Latch on lid stopped securing the lid firmly in the first few weeks and I now I balance a container on top to hold it down.
Summary: I love my rice cooker and use it almost every day. I'm a college student and work part time so I don't have a lot of free time but my new little buddy the rice cooker saves me a lot of time since all I have to do is push a button.
Summary: It is one of the cheapest rice cooker around. Great for cooking for a small family or one person. If the right amount of water is used, one cup of (uncooked) rice is perfectly cooked in less than 20 minutes. Quick compared to more expensive brands. Highly recommended.
Summary: I really liked this cooker compared to other open cookers. Due to this closed lid, no mess while cooking rice. At least 80% less mess compared to regular rice cookers where they spill water and mess a lot.
Summary: Pros: Non stick interior pan. Doesn't burn rice when on warm setting. Cons: Little drip catcher can be a pain to keep track of. Highly recommend this rice cooker. I routinely make 4 cups cooked and it is perfect for that amount. Have not tried larger amounts yet.
