User Review

Michael H., Newegg

  • Summary: This unit is better suited to cooking family sized portions of rice and the steamer is a great addition. Those looking for a cooker for one or two people might be better served by a smaller cooker.
  • Pros: Steamer works very well. Cooks the rice thoroughly and evenly every time.
  • Cons: When cooking a small amount of rice, it tends to stick to the pot and overcook a little. Larger amounts don't do this.

  • Pros: gets the job done in 20 minutes, you don't have to do anything except follow the instructions and it works perfectly.
  • Cons: The rice sticks to the pot everytime, even after putting as recommended it still sticks, but this is not a real issue.

The instruction book said that salt is not good for the aluminum finish, but I still use it in cooking and it does not seem to have any significant effect on a...
