Summary: This is a great rice cooker that has worked flawlessly for me for several years. The only drawback is that rice sticks hard to the bottom of the metal insert, so I have to soak the dish before cleaning. But that hasn't stopped it from being a reliable and easy way to make good rice.
Summary: I use this rice cooker at least once a week, and it never fails to do what it's meant to do. Not so easy to clean, I usually have to soak it first, but that might be because I put in too little water in the rice? Very useful item.
Summary: I bought this product because the inner pot does not have non-stick coating and because of its small convenient size. The quality of the rice it made was not as good as my Zojirushi, but I could live with it for the low price of the cooker and the freedom from teflon. Unfortunately, mine stopped working less than a year after purchase, and the cost of shipping it both ways to have it fixed would be about the same as buying a new small cooker.
Summary: This device broke with infrequent use in less than 6 months. I know it's only 10 bucks, but I sort of expect it to work, y'know? It screams cheap build quality. Lesson learned - spend more than 15 bucks on a rice cooker if you want one that will last.
Summary: My husband had one of these before I met him. He claimed to have had it for about 4 years prior to meeting me. It finally broke last year and I have been searching for a similar replacement (one without a nonstick coating). So all in all it lasted 7 years before kicking the bucket. Not bad for a 15 dollar rice cooker. Contrary to other reviews, I do not find it difficult to clean in the least.
