Summary: Makes cooking rice simple. Put the rice in, pour in the appropriate amount of water, set to heat and wait until it switches to warm. Piece of cake! **Update** After a couple of months of light use, I began having the same problem many of the negative reviews had.
Summary: The cooker looks great and works well but there are a couple of flaws. You have to babysit the cooker for a few minutes in the beginning since the switch automatically turns from ‘cook’ to ‘Warm’ mode in just 2-3 minutes, you will have to turn it back to the ‘cook’ mode again.
Summary: I've been on a pretty strict budget for over a year now. You get tired of ramen. Rice is not only more filling, it also has less sodium than instant ramen. As an added bonus this model has flowers painted on the side, so when you look at it you can imagine it smells pleasant, even if it only smells...
Summary: first time of use, cook mode switched itself to warm mode and there was a smoke which smelled like a burnt electrical wiring. I turned it back to cook mode and just let it cook until the smoke went away.
Summary: Sadly, I am not happy with this product. I read several posts about it and thought it would do the trick. Within a few weeks there were a number of "pings" that developed on the inside of the cooker. Not the removable pan but the cooker itself.
Summary: I read the other reviews before purchasing and I've gotten perfect rice everytime. I use this about twice per week, and we have a big family, so it's an important tool in my kitchen. I don't leave it on for hours after the rice is cooked, so I've never had it burn anything. Love this!
