I didn't want to pay Logitech price so after searching around I found these remote and heard good review. Almost too good to be true. So I gave it a try. I'm so happy I did. Its an amazing remote can control anything. My media I built. My Samsung TV Toshiba blueray player.

  • Excerpt: I bought this remote yesterday to replace 3 things samsung led tv. toshiba blue ray player and media pc center. I build PC myself. I wanted harmony one becuase I heard amazing things when it comes to media pc. so I was a little skeptical about getting this remote, becuase I have a ir rc6 compatible dongle usb reciever. the remote works perfectly and whatever you can't program, the remote can learn from original remote and works perfectly.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Program, Easy To Set Up, Ergonomic Design, Nice Button Configuration, Nice Features

Not as good as the ad and catalog copy

  • Excerpt: I needed an easily programmed remoe to replace an odd one (digital tuner hard-drive recorder and DVD player/recorder)and the ad copy seemed it say this would handle it. No such luck. It was no easier to program than other universal remotes I have tried. I had to return it. Too bad. It would probably be good for more usual devices such as DVD players and TV (although I could not program the sleep function for my TV).
  • Cons: Difficult To Program, Incompatible

Easy to program, easy to use

  • Excerpt: This replaces a WR6 that I owned for years. This remote works the way I would expect it to. It can be coded so that Volume Up/Down/Mute always controls my receiver - you don't have to choose SAT to change channels and AUD to adjust the volume. It can also be set to learn a specific command for a specific button, so even if your device isn't listed, it doesn't really matter. Backlight is cool (and can be turned off, so it doesn't waste batteries).
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Nice Button Configuration, Works with many devices

  • Excerpt: This remote does everything I need. It is easy to program and learns commands from other remotes when needed. I have an unsual soundbar that has a remote with it. The WR7 was able to learn the entire remote as an aux device. The low price is a bonus.
