Excerpt: Love this remote. it's very user friendly to program and has LEARN function which is helpful....but there's no great guide to setup Macros which are essential. I watched a few YouTube videos and it was super easy. Really works fantastic and i now own three of them on different systems all with the RF base station. the IR works just as well as the RF.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Program, Easy To Set Up, Ergonomic Design, Nice Button Configuration, Nice Features
Excerpt: Bought this as I wanted to move my gear out of the main living area (to a different floor of the home) yet keeping the convenience of the remote controls. This unit handles it easily. When joined with an RF base station with the "flashers" attached to the units it easily handles all the remote control functions. The MX-450 has a pretty vast database of product manufacturers that can be selected to find a code set that works.
Pros: Easy To Program, Easy To Set Up, Nice Features
Excerpt: I really like this product because it will turn off all the components at the same time. The tech who programed our remote control even programed it to turn the lights back up in our media room after the entire system is off. We bought one of these remotes for our new media room and liked it so much that we bought one for the tv/dvd/dvr/audio system upstairs too.
Pros: Easy To Program, Nice Button Configuration, Nice Features
Excerpt: I use this remote in my media room to control a Plasma, DVR, DVD and AVR. I also carry the remote throughout the house to control the DVR which is distributed to other zones (using RF via the URC MRF-260 RF Basestation.)Pros: -- It is very easy to program.-- It is a good looking remote and has a ton of well-placed hard buttons.Cons: -- It may give you less control than you may used to (changing graphics for example).
