Philips SRM7500

The Philips SRM7500 allows you to instantly browse your music collection by acting as a second screen for your multimedia PC.

Features

The Philips SRM7500 shows your songs in a convenient layout, sorted by artist, album or genre in the palm of your hand, giving you’re the freedom to choose your music from almost anywhere in the home, allowing you to navigate your music files without using your TV/ monitor. It has an on-screen media selection feature that has the ability to view and select a list of songs, pictures and movies from your PC on the LCD screen of the remote control. Besides that, the Philips SRM7500 also incorporates a 2-way RF communication as well as a USB dongle to ensure the content of the PC is transmitted to the remote, making it possible to view the menu and select your favourite files without needing to turn on your TV or monitor. In addition to that, the Philips SRM7500 can also operate through walls via radio frequency-based USB adaptor that is an adaptor that can be connected to your device’s USB port to enable control of the device when in a cabinet or in another room. The Philips SRM7500 and the USB adaptor both have a Radio-Frequency (RF) module incorporated in them, over which, the two communicate with each other. The commands of the remote will be executed through the USB adaptor and the content of the Media Centre PC will be visible on the remote’s LCD screen via the USB adaptor. Other features include compatibility with Media Centre Edition (Windows XP or Vista), WMP 10-11 and iTunes 6-7 to ensure you can play your favourite files by supporting all the formats to be visible and controllable on the LCD screen of the remote. Other than that, the Philips SRM7500 also provides direct access key to control Microsoft Media Centre PC via a green button to the dedicated Microsoft Media Centre PC menu.
