Summary: I got this remote so I could control my tv and Xbox on the same remote when I watched movies. I was very disappointed when I wasn't able to program it for my tv, the directions are very confusing and even when I tried to contact someone on Xbox support I got no help with it.
typing using the cursor on the internet through the 360 is the worst thing in the world

Summary: You have to make sure nothing is in the way of the sensor and aim it perfectly at the 360 or nothings gonna happen. Also, typing using the cursor on the internet through the 360 is the worst thing in the world, you'll want to kill yourself or something immediately having to deal with the lag from...
Summary: Works well as a basic remote, XBOX features are limited or cumbersome. Using the directional pad to move a 'mouse' cursor is excruciatingly slow and the cursor moves pixel by pixel; holding down the direction shoots the cursor to the end of the screen very quickly.
Summary: The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is that I have to hold it at a specific angle for it to pick up the TV. The TV remote does not work like this so I know it isn't my TV and instead is the emitter on the remote.
Summary: This remote is okay if you are like me and dont have cable or satellite tv. All I watch is netflix and dvds through my xbox. The directional button is a bit difficult to use and it must be pointed line of sight at the xbox to work. Overall ok for my purposes though.
Summary: At times the buttons do not work. I find I have to press buttons numerous times to get them to work. This is with fresh batteries and brand new product. Usually the problem is with the multi directional middle button.
Aim lower, now higher, to the right just a scratch....nah, start over.

Summary: I replaced my older, already-yellowing white remote with this remote. I don't know if it's the Xbox360's IR receiver or the remotes output, but, man! You really have to be aiming directly at the Xbox to get it to do anything with this remote. And I mean directly.
