typing using the cursor on the internet through the 360 is the worst thing in the world

Summary: You have to make sure nothing is in the way of the sensor and aim it perfectly at the 360 or nothings gonna happen. Also, typing using the cursor on the internet through the 360 is the worst thing in the world, you'll want to kill yourself or something immediately having to deal with the lag from letter to letter or the sudden ultra sensitivity:/ i wish it had a keyboard in the back
Summary: Works well as a basic remote, XBOX features are limited or cumbersome. Using the directional pad to move a 'mouse' cursor is excruciatingly slow and the cursor moves pixel by pixel; holding down the direction shoots the cursor to the end of the screen very quickly. The remote cannot input letters using the number double-tap feature akin to cell phone texting in the days past (this could have been very useful). Glad I bought it, but I should have tempered my expectations.
Summary: The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is that I have to hold it at a specific angle for it to pick up the TV. The TV remote does not work like this so I know it isn't my TV and instead is the emitter on the remote.
Summary: Remote looks great, feels good in ur hand...has most of buttons u need to control ur xbox, ur tv and couple buttons like recording button for your DVR! so easy to pair with ur tv, it even has a seperate on/off button for each tv & xbox. but here's my biggest problem with it so far...Range, u have to be like within 5 feet straight up in front of ur xbox if u moved alil to the left or right then it starts to act up.
Summary: This remote is okay if you are like me and dont have cable or satellite tv. All I watch is netflix and dvds through my xbox. The directional button is a bit difficult to use and it must be pointed line of sight at the xbox to work. Overall ok for my purposes though.
Summary: At times the buttons do not work. I find I have to press buttons numerous times to get them to work. This is with fresh batteries and brand new product. Usually the problem is with the multi directional middle button.
Summary: I really like the look and functionality of this remote. It has a glossy finish with all of the buttons you would really need from such a device. It's universal remote worked with my Hanspree TV which was a surprise. I probably should have checked out it's compatibility before I purchased it, but it worked out. The only 2 things that I didn't realize about it that I wish were different are no backlit buttons and it's IR...not radio signal like the controllers.
Summary: This was made for the 360, so I must wonder why this remote has such a difficult time sending a signal to the xbox. The remote must be pointed directly at the xbox, at the right angle, to have the signal be received. The design is great, it feels and looks nice, but there is long stretches where this thing is more frustrating than useful.
