I don't regret many things in life

Eric K., Newegg
14 March 2014
  • Summary: I can't say how much I dislike this. I hope Logitech sees the ills of their ways with this remote and stops production of it, in favor of a more "Logical" layout of the buttons.
  • Pros: but this sadly is one of those things. I wish I had bought the brand new one so I could return it for a refund. Beware of that return policy on refurbs, which I was aware of when I decided to take the risk here
  • Cons: -Battery life indicator seems to bounce quickly from full power, to like a quarter of life, with no in-between.

Flawed Device

Tariq K., Newegg
28 May 2013
  • Summary: Cool concept. If I could change the functions or location of the physical buttons, this would be soooo much better.
  • Pros: It feels good in your hand.
  • Cons: Once in your hand you will realize the buttons are in the wrong place. In order to hit pause/play you have to slide your hands up...ruining the good feel, and making it out of balance.

Lacks customization & battery life

Laurence W., Newegg
11 April 2013
  • Summary: I chose this remote over other remotes because it was compact. The trade-off I made for compact was limited functionality and convenience. I regret this. I thought due to the popularity of touch screen devices (smartphones, tablets) that I would win with a remote that was touch. This remote did not meet expectations.
  • Pros: * The remote is compact and fits well ergonomically in the hand.
  • Cons: * The home screen order of activities is not customizable. You cannot change the sequence to prevent from scrolling to your favorite activity like other harmony remotes

Not convenient

Oleg P., Newegg
8 December 2012
  • Pros: Nice large screen that supports gestures. Feels great physically.
  • Cons: On the activities menu, only one activity displays per screen, you need to scroll one screen at a time to get to the activity you want, this is annoying after having used the Harmony One.

User Review

  • Summary: Do not like it due to tough to program online. The help button will be easy to unintentionally. Leaving enough back and keep my old 885 text which works very well. Gillar den inte pga segt att programmera online. Hjälpknappen kommer man lätt åt oavsiktligt. Lämnar nog tillbaka den och behåller min gamla 885:a som fungerar mycket bra.
