Not impressed…not worth the money

Petey, Richer Sounds
12 January 2014
  • Summary: A lot of money( over £100) for a product that needs to go back to the drawing board…looks great and simple in theory and in reviews but complicated to use and most of the time not logical (like a closed questionnaire) ….often so much easier to go back to 5 separate controls to get a much quicker result….you need to devote lots and lots of time to this product (take a holiday and get rid of the wife/ kids for a week)….no instruction manual and nothing presented on line to...

Great potential but with fatal flaws

johnpaul, Richer Sounds
28 July 2013
  • Summary: Out of the box initial set up is pretty straightforward via the online myharmony site. Once all your devices are found you then move on to programme activities which is where problems first start. The default is to power on and off each device as activities start and end, not great when dealing with valve amps and projectors. Solving this is a faff of time consuming workarounds explained by similarly frustrated users on the Logitech forum.
  • Pros: potential to control complex av systems , backlit
  • Cons: very buggy software , frustrating macro writing , annoying touch screen defaults , unreliable

Frustrating

Francois Capone, Amazon
26 June 2013
  • Summary: The product didn't work as smooth as its supose to be. The configuration took me about 3 hours, mainly caused by the configuration server not responding, and when the configuration is done, we have problem just by trying to open or close the devices (some are not opening, or there's a huge delay). Should have returned it...

Failing Grade

slipryder, Amazon
21 June 2013
  • Summary: Purchased as a replacement remote for damaged Logitech Harmony One. Main issues are as follows:takes twice as long to go from one activity to another back to home then to devices, scroll some more with the touch display and finally getting what I wanted to do, watch TV. A little extreme yes, but this seems to be the case when it comes to Touch Remote.
