Summary: I purchased the Harmony One in September of 2011, the unit died within 6 months, I RMA'd the unit via logitech only to have it fail again just after it's 12 month warranty expired. Logitech is unable to provide me repair service and had suggested I buy another remote.
Summary: It is a terrible shame that such a good remote would have such a terrible support system.
Pros: Does almost everything.. The macros are great, device coverage equally good..
Cons: SETUP SETUP SETUP..... Some genius decided that an "online only" setup was the cool way to go.. FAIL... while the database of devices is spectacular.. the servers themselves are horrid at best (see the Logitech forums, literally hundreds of complaint
Summary: Under no circumstances should you buy this product. It is DEFECTIVE. The re-chargeable battery provided by Logitech will expand over time such that you can't remove.
Pros: Functionally good. Worked with lots of devices. IR is so 1970's, but that's not really the remote's fault - devices are stuck in the 20th century.
Cons: Per Logitech: "the reason why we do not have the instructions on how to remove a bulging battery is because we do not recommend to remove it. This may cause harm to you and to the remote if you try to remove the remote by force"., Need I say more?
Harmony remotes are great. This one is not. Don't buy.

Pros: This is a well designed remote, with significant software improvements over the 880 that came before it.
Cons: You'll love it for 3-4 days until you realize that's how often you need to charge it., Remotes fall off teh couch occasionally., The first time you drop your brand new, still under warranty Harmony One, the screen will immediately stop working.
Summary: I have owned this remote for less then 3 months. The screen went white with distorted black images. I called tech support and they informed me it had been abused. To my knowledge, the remote had not been dropped and shows no sign of abuse. They did ask if someone had sat on the remote, to my best recollection, the answer is still no. However, it seems disconcerting that simply sitting on a remote could render it useless.
Pros: Easy set up & Mac Interface
Cons: Pathetic Touch Screen - Broke in less then 3 months with no abuse!
Summary: I was totally amazed when my son set this remote up for us. It was the coolest thing ever for about 1 month. Then it totally quit working and stayed in a "safe mode". There is virtually no customer support. Try getting logitech on a phone. After about 1 hour of internet searching, I finally found procedures on how to handle the safe mode problem. The instructions didn't work. We tried again and again to no avail.
