The Harmony One is incredibly easy to use but is somewhat expensive. When a new Logitech Harmony Remote arrives on the scene I like to review it to update readers on the latest models in the line-up. With the introduction of the Harmony One universal remote I felt that Logitech had finally completely usurped the original Harmony design and replaced it with a "from the ground up" approach that reflected Logitech's penchant for svelte devices. In case you were still navigating through that last bit of pontifical text, I was giving them a... Read more
Smooth Operator: Remote Controls With Brains and Beauty Logitech's 2.2-inch color touchscreen remote definitely had the looks of the bunch. Testing proved it had the brains, too. Instead of forcing you to toggle between various devices, the Harmony One is activity-based — select "watch a video" and it powers on all the required electronics at once and sets them to the proper inputs. And with codes for hundreds of thousands of devices, you can be sure that the off-brand... Read more

This remote is amazing. I have totally fallen in love with it. It was easy to set up, but I spent more time with the wizard than I needed to. Just get past that by choosing a TV or something, and get into the after-wizard configuration. That's where you'll be able to make it do anything you want it to. It can handle up to 15 devices, and can even handle duplicate types of devices. For instance, I have my main TV, DVD, etc. listed, and then I also added my Bedroom TV,... Read more

This is definitely the best universal remote I've ever owned...period. It does everything the manufacturer says it will do. The remote itself is very easy to use and intuitive. The web-based software that comes with the remote makes it "extremely" simple to setup and customize according to the components you have in your entertainment system. Well worth the $189.00 I spent on it, considering the fact that it replaces the remotes for seven different A/V components in my... Read more

This remote is a big improvement over my Harmony 660. The keys are better made and more consistent in their response. Programming on line is easy, even for complicated setups like mine. I like the charging station because I hate throwing batteries away. The battery charge lasts a reasonable time, but it does mean that you need an outlet and place to put it. Read more
