26 July 2014
Excerpt: I always wanted a remote, which can control all of my electronic gadgets easily, in short words I was looking for a universal remote. And while I was searching the Internet, I found an awesome universal remote from Logitech called “Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote”. I bought it right …
Summary: This system nearly stopped the complaints from my wife about multiple wireless remotes. After multiple attempts to control my theaters many systems (which consists of RS1 projector, Onkyo master receiver, Sony receiver, PS-3, Dish receiver, Sony DVD, Chinese curtain puller, HDMI switcher and Lutron...
Pros: Controls most everything, even weird off brand equipment
Summary: Works well with all my components even when the Onkyo AVR remote won't. Battery life is good. Have used this 4 years now & only on my 3rd rechargeable battery. Still love the design, altho the number buttons are getting a bit finicky, esp #2 & 3 & up volume has to be pressed really hard, so it's had...
Summary: Okay, so here's the deal - Logitech's Harmony remotes are incredible electronics. They're key examples of usability - programming your remote has never been this easy! However, there are some issues with this particular model. I bought mine more than 2 years ago, and loved it at first..
Pros: - Easy to program via web - Versatile - controls almost everything! - Simple to use - Rechargeable batteries are EXCELLENT
Cons: - Dim backlighting/small button labels - Doesn't connect well with charging cradle - Longevity (or lack thereof)
Summary: This product allows anyone to set up and control a complex array of gear with mere patient consideration of what needs to happen. Let's face it, some of this stuff is quite complex; but figure it out once, reflect that understanding in the programming steps, and you are done for life!
Summary: This is hands down the best remote I have ever owned. It controls all of the electronics we own out of the box (even our remote controlled fan) and has the ability to learn the signals of ANY IR device just by pointing the device at it and pressing the button to be learned.
Summary: I love this remote so much I'm getting my parents one for Christmas. I see a lot of negative comments about the charger. I've been using it for 6 months and I haven't had any issues charging. The remote drops into the cradle every time.
Summary: Basically the end all of all actually universal remotes, not including those funny lcd touch screen ones. Basically if a thing has a Ir receiver, it can control it. Fully customizable, long setup, basic logitech problem, great hardware, confusing software, setup takes forever
Pros: Incredible Flexibility, Most powerful remote i have ever held, control up to 15 dvices, nice lcd screen
