The Harmony 700 remote features a color screen, rechargeable batteries and one-click control of favorite activities. The Logitech Harmony 700 provides users with One-Click Control that lets them access entertainment via one-button control instead of a complex series of button presses. It also eliminates complicated lists of what to turn on or which button to select. After completing the online setup, users select what want to do – such as “Watch a DVD” – and the Logitech Harmony 700 remote initiates all components that is required for such activity.

The Logitech Harmony 700 also features a color LCD screen that gives users at-a-glance access to entertainment options. For example, if they are watching TV, they can see icons for favorite channels, making it easy to jump favorite shows with one click – without the requirement to enter, or remember, the channel number. The Harmony 700 comes with rechargeable AA batteries that can go several weeks between charges. The batteries can be charged through the power adaptor. The remote control can be set up by connecting it to a PC or Mac® computer with a downloaded software. Pre-registration is required for this feature, and the Logitech Harmony software will continue the rest of the setup. From Betamax to Blu-Ray, the Logitech Harmony 700 remote can control virtually any IR home-electronic device, with more than 250,000 home entertainment devices compatibility. The Logitech Harmony 700 remote is available in the U.S. and Europe in September for a suggested retail price of $149.99 (U.S.).
