Summary: We've had this remote for years now. It's perfect! Super easy to program. So much nicer than having over 5 remotes for our entertainment systems. Easy to use. Our 5 year old uses it every Saturday morning for cartoons! :) We just cleaned the contacts recently. Works like it's brand new!
Summary: This was a great deal. I dropped my first one several times and it broke. Bought this one to replace the first. Received before due date, price was right and works perfectly. No problems with it and great service. Highly Recommend.
Summary: This is my favorite in the Harmony lineup. When I first considered the Harmony I wasn't satisfied with the 880, the buttons were not tactile and were hard to find. I purchased a different model and the buttons had some profile but were not tactile. I ended up with four different Harmony models before I decided on the 676. I've purchased seven now and have three in two different homes using the different color faces and one at my mothers house.
Summary: I never thought I would be able to please everyone in the household. We had five different remotes and it seemed I was the only one who knew how to set up any video or audio session in our media center. Needless to say, it was not fun for me or for the other family members. Then I purchased this remote at the suggestion of a friend and - voila! - life is good again. Setting up the remote on the computer was a breeze (and I have a Mac!).
Summary: It's a very functional, programmable universal remote control. You tell it how to manage an "activity" (like "watch a movie") and it can set up the components -- stereo for sound, TV, DVD player, etc. It has much better range than the factory remotes, and in the relatively seldom event it doesn't quite reach one of the devices, the "help" feature is quick to get things back in line. It easily replaced five remotes for us, and now I can't live without it.
Summary: I won't waste your time with a long detailed list of all the Harmony's features, you can find those all over. What I will tell you is that this remote is super easy to set up with on your computer, it found all of my home theater components and worked with them right off the bat. But probably the best feature it has is the little help button and a screen.
Summary: It works perfectly. I love this remote and once you get used to the software it is real easy to program. I have it running 6 devices and set up programs as HD DVD, where it gets my AV receiver, TV, and HD DVD player on and on the right channel and speaker set up. Just one touch when it took 3 remotes in the past. I have it connected to my blu-ray player and comcast DVR box.
Summary: I priced out a bunch of different remotes and found the Harmony's to be user friendly. The 676 just happened to be the cheapest and still had a ton of features. One button for your four major preferences. Small con (being picky): if you have already have your TV on then hit the TV button which can then turn on the cable, TV, and receiver all by hitting one button, it will then turn the TV off, but if you hit the help button it just ask you "is your TV on" you click yes...
