Does what it's supposed to do

Summary: I got a refurb. Battery life is than the 5 days unlike some other reports. Software is horrible. It's portal to their online database. Forces an update every time you log in. There is no point in this, just download what is needed or allow the user to manually update when needed.
Pros: Controls multiple devices (I only have 3) Customizable controls Excellent database of devices Backlit buttons
Cons: Horrible online configuration Even more horrible installed software Button layout could have been better
Summary: This is the best remote I've ever owned, and even my wife (who has hated every other universal we've had) likes it. Even with the small TV input issue, it still accomplished my two goals: (1) control all my components, and (2) keep me from having to get up off the couch to do anything.
Pros: This remote rocks! Incredibly simple to program with very easy, intuitive software. Launch the software, connect the remote, select your devices and how you like to use them, and voila! Harmony even had codes for my obscure HANNSpree LCD TV, which not even HANNSpree could provide. The "activity" ...
Cons: I started out with a refurb 659, but the "glow" feature stopped working within a week. Newegg did not have any more in stock, so they gave me a full refund (go, Newegg!). Replaced it with this 670 (refurb from another outlet named after a large river) for less than 1/2 the price for new, and I'm ...
Summary: I previously wrote "It is missing one button that my dvr remote has(live) but I'm okay with it". Well, if I would've read the instructions further I would've found it. I found it by scrolling through other screens. So basically I don't understand today's tech as much as I thought I did.
Pros: The best feature of this remote is being able to program it via a pc to turn on/off more than one thing simultaneously. HA, the wife won't touch it because she doesn't understand all them buttons. Thanks Logitech.
Cons: I still give it 4 eggs due to lack of paper manual.
Summary: I paid $60 + tax at the big box store closing. Good thing I got there when I did because it was the last one. 60% off was too good to pass up. I can't say it's worth what stores are charging right now but if you have a store closing by you it's definitely worth $60.
Pros: Being able to use only one remote is sooooooo nice. I use it to control tv, dvr and receiver. Finally, I don't have three remotes sitting on the end table. Fairly simple to setup for those that actually understand today's tech. Keep it away from the wife.
Cons: It is missing one button that my dvr remote has(live) but I'm okay with it.
