The 670 works great but lacks durability

Summary: Once again the Harmony remotes are such a joy when they are working. I have had two different models now and both were broken withing the first 1-1.5 years.
Pros: The Harmony line is by FAR the easiest best line of remotes I have ever seen. I cannot say that I know of anything that is even close in terms of functionality and ease of use. I use this things for my multpart entertainment center and it is the ONLY remote that actually lets me put the originals...
Cons: Battery life is pretty bad. After about 8 months it started rebooting because the battery compartment doesn't firmly hold the batteries in. Logitech products in general seem to suffer from quality issues these days. I have had more than a few lock ups and freezes. Logitech support is really bad.
Summary: Not bad for the awesome deal I got on it from Newegg! Plan on spending several hours fine tuning the options if you want it to truly be a BENEFIT and not just another gadget...
Pros: With lots of fine-tuning using the Logitech software, it has the POTENTIAL to be a great tool! Lots of options once you get deep into the program... USB connectivity was effortless...
Cons: Not as WIFE-FRIENDLY as I would have liked... She (a tech novice) still has trouble finding the right buttons to do the various basic functions she desires... Also, I have found the toggle wheel too small, especially since it is used so often scrolling up, down and around.
Summary: Luckily I bought it at a local major blue retailer so I just went up there and exchanged it both times instead of having to RMA it. It works great and the button customizations are wonderful, but you might want to keep it wrapped in bubble paper if you want it to last.
Pros: Works great! I'm so glad I put away all those other remotes plus the broken AV receiver remote and replaced them all with this one. Much neater. Glow is nice for watching movies.
Cons: Two have broken on me already. The first fell from only about 3 feet high and the screen went had some lines through it. On the second, the mini-usb port at the top of the remote fell off! The port just fell inside the remote the second time I tried to plug it up to my PC! Afterwords I looked ins...
Summary: Like one reviewer mentioned, if u have big fingers, the arrow keys around the ok button is all a little small...i have skinny fingers so no problem here but it is kinda tight
Pros: It got rid of 5 remotes.
Cons: Wont turn on my receiver when hitting "watch TV", i have to switch to that device to do so. When channel surfing like we all do, i have to switch to cable box, and to adjust vol, i gotta switch devices again...and on and on and on...if it could just leave the vol and those certain options set to ...
Summary: It was my own fault for not going to a local store and trying it out first. I just wanted to warn anyone who buys this without holding it that the button layout is small compared to other remotes. Try it in your hand before you buy. Newegg of course is the place to buy.
Pros: This is one great functioning remote. It can pretty much do any type of task in whatever order you want. It took me 1 hour to program it with 5 devices. The initial setup is quick but the fine tuning of what you want takes a little time and patience.
Cons: What I don't like is the ergonomics. The buttons are just too small and too close together. The main up, down, left, right circle button is only 3/4 of an inch from left to right and that includes the "OK" button in the center of that. My thumb is 7/8 inches wide so trying to use that button whee...
