Disappointing, I wouldn't recommend it

Summary: My setup is not that complicated, I have DirectTV, 2 Tivos and a receiver. The two TiVos took some work to setup. Also, the system has 4 pre-defined buttons, which are supposed to be shortcuts to "Watch TV" "Watch Movie", etc.
Pros: I like the way the keypad lights up (lame pro, but I'm pretty disappointed)
Cons: I found this extremely difficult to set up and I am pretty good at these sorts of things. Running the setup program takes a ridiculous amount of time and after 10+ times, some basic functions still don't work. Summary: This is so ridiculous. With one simle addition to the UI -- just one -- namely, the ability to get a list of the equipment and codes it DOES know about -- I'd have saved hours of poking around and swearing. But no. Guess, guess, guess.
Pros: The unit works.
Cons: The programming UI is exasperating. It asks you for the precise model number of your equipment -- then even makes you double-check this (for no apparent reason) -- then (my failure rate was 50%) tells you it can't find the model number in its database.
