Overall Very Good

RV, B&H Photo
14 February 2015
  • Excerpt: I really like the easy Internet interface to program the device. Very simple and intuitive. Very flexible. My only concern is that the 650 seems to have a difficult time when it comes to video inputs. Perhaps it is me but the 650 does everything well except getting the right video input. I am still working with it trying to ad delays into switching the inputs but it is still not choosing the correct one.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Program, Easy To Set Up, Ergonomic Design, Nice Button Configuration, Nice Features

Works great once it's set up properly.

  • Excerpt: It took a few hours to set it up properly due to uncommon equipment input on my DVR. Once it's set up it works great. This is the third Harmony I've set up for friends/relatives and they are all happy with them.I docked it one star because the firmware wouldn't let me rearange the screen functions.
  • Pros: Nice Features

Easy to set up and use.

25 November 2014
  • Excerpt: It had all of my devices, including a few obscure ones. It's relatively easy to set up, though there were some problems completing sync.As for using, it works as expected. The only 'nit' is that it takes a while to go through all of the commands to turn everything on and to the correct signal. Once you get used to it, it's not a big deal.

Easy Easy Easy

Cheryl, Crutchfield
13 October 2014
  • Summary: Just attach the remote to your PC. Add your devices by model number. Done! The remote works seamlessly with my TV, DVD, Cablebox and Sonos Playbar.
  • Pros: Easy to setup.
  • Cons: Doesn't seem to have an option for my cable box's (Scientific Atlanta HD 8300) DVR options.

Great Remote!

fred, Crutchfield
13 October 2014
  • Summary: Very nice remote! Allows me to put the other 4 remotes (TV, Blue-Ray, AV Receiver, Cable Box) away. Works very well 95% of the time and allows you to "redo" the function when it doesn't. It's a WIN!

Bad USB Port

John H., Newegg
9 July 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to replace an e 250 that finally gave up the ghost after 4 years. This is my second one of this type. The USB port failed on the first one, no way to program it. I had it all setup and tried to add some more function when I found the USB cable would not stay in and it could not communicate with the remote. All the original settings still worked.
  • Pros: Not a touch screen so my wife can use it. Handles all 4 of my devices with full function on all devices. Battery life is good, about 3 months Easy to setup with download software
  • Cons: Program on line does not have all the functionality as the download software. USB port failed on my first one, so I could not reprogram the remote. The remote worked fine with my original settings, just could not add to it. This one works fine.

Suitable replacement for my old 688

Alex S., Newegg
17 June 2014
  • Pros: Works like it said it was supposed to. Fairly painless configuration through wizard-like set up. Worked first try with only minor tweaks required.
  • Cons: My old login ID (from 10 years ago) was no longer in the system so I had to reconfigure all settings one device at a time. The setup program doesn't seem like it has as much control as it did before Logitech taking them over. For example it is harder to figure out how to get the TV to switch using discrete inputs rather than sending the input signal repeatedly until it cycled to the right input. I remember it being a lot easier before, but it has been many years since...

Good Remote, but...

Human M., Newegg
8 June 2014
  • Summary: I would like to have the cable replaced, but apparently cannot send back only the cable; must also send the remote, which after substituting another cable is working fine.
  • Pros: Easy to program, once I figured out that the USB cable provided to connect with my PC was defective. Works well.
  • Cons: Provided USB cable was defective and I spent a frustrating hour trying to connect with my PC to program the remote.
