Pros: Nice layout and easy to program. Easy to install custom icons for favorite TV channels.
Cons: 50-50 it resets itself. For example, while in TV mode, with the buttons assigned to TV functions, it will often reset to a power-on state, and buttons lose their assignments. Very annoying. There are awkward workarounds to the 5 device limitation.
Cons: Every time you turn on or off a pre-configured set up you have to change the tv inputs. It will turn your components on, but with wrong inputs. Reprogram, no help. Remote does not 'remember' that it does it wrong every time.

Summary: I bought the 650 to replace the 700 that had died about 18mos after purchasing. The 650 lasted about a month before it started acting up. Every time I would use it, it would repeat the introductory tutorial screen. I exchanged it at FS with no problems. The new one didn't last a week, it completely locked up, and wouldn't do anything. Per Logitech tech support, both of my 650s had "failed." They shipped me a new one.
Summary: This remote is easy to program and is nicely designed. However, I had a couple of major issues with this remote. After having it for two months it would randomonly reboot after hitting a button. I did some internet searching and found out that the problem is a mixture of low batteries and how the remote's firmware handles low battery alerts.
