Summary: Got remote to recognize Blu-Ray player by calling it a DVD player. Eventually the original TV remote was available at Am*z*n for under $20 and has more functionality. Would not recommend this at the current price.
Pros: Newegg had them refurbished two years ago for $15.99, uses widely available AA batteries.
Cons: Frequently used buttons wear out quickly, recognizes DVD player but not Blu-Ray players, production discontinued. Unusual method of programming. Have to login just to program remote. Didn't keep account active on long intervals between logins. Logitech wouldn't respond to emails for help.
Summary: This is an above-average remote control, that feels like a decent remote control in your hand. However, the fact that its configurability depends on Logitech notoriously poor servers is unacceptable. If you're lucky, you can configure it, if not, it's just a pretty remote control not doing anything.
Pros: Configurable buttons Right weight for a remote control
Cons: Configuring buttons depends on communication with Logitech servers (frequently unavailable). poor default layout of buttons; no wheel for UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT group buttons generally too soft
Summary: I've shown and bout this for 3 other friends who have told me how much they love it. It's really a nice device to have that you know for a fact is going to work. If your unsure you can go to their website and search for your devices in advanced to be sure.
Pros: Logitech is just awesome, i bought this got it, hooked it up to my pc, logged into their site and added the devices i needed to control. Hit up load and bam worked great. I was able to customize some button to my liking and even my wife love the remote. I bought a 650 the one that has a little sc...
Summary: The remote lasted about a year and 4 months . The way I beat it up though that is not that bad.
Pros: Ease of programming Amount of buttons and location of buttons Harmony remotes can control my w7 mce and any other dvr
Cons: The button I used the most , up and down channel wore out after about 9 months. That may not be a huge con because I am the biggest channel surfer ever. I mean I abuse these buttons so no negative eggs for that. ( I wore out the last remote in the same way). I have the AVS Gear GP-IR01BK as my mc...
Summary: Dont buy it,velcrow your remotes to the coffee table cheaper and worked better.
Pros: There is no Pros to this product.
Cons: Wont work with any up to date windows 7.if your running an old version of XP you might be ok.I tryed everything the web sight gave no reults, explorer 9 is incompatable with there software, and support, foreget it,I got better support out of a jock strap.
Summary: I've seen a lot of negative feedback regarding the programmability of this remote using the MyHarmony site and Mac OS X Lion. I, too, initially had problems. But I was able to successfully program the 300i after downloading/installing the latest version of Microsoft's Silverlight and restarting my...
Pros: Works with my older Samsung CRT TV, Comcast DTA device, original Apple TV and Roku XD. Programmed using my Macbook running OS X 10.7.2
Cons: Considerably "simpler" compared to other Harmony remotes I have (880, 520). But that's expected for the price paid.
Pros: Easily programmed. Every function can be programmed or learned by this remote. Very cheap for 4 devices and the number of features it uses.
Cons: The online sync site will only allow you to have one of these remotes! We had to setup an account for my wife for the living room remote and one for me for our bedroom remote. Then again, we like it so much we bought two!
