Summary: I bought this remote to control my PC when I use it to watch videos, to control my smart tv (Sony R520A), and my NAS box. Basically, you need one today, as you have more and more computers around you performing various tasks and fewer and fewer "dumb" devices, since in most cases you are going to use one or more of the following: -type inside of the search box -type paths and / or commands -use mouse to navigate the GUI buttons Lenovo makes three models of this remote:...
Summary: I like the remote, however I ordered the more expensive back-lit version as I have poor eyesight, & I received the version that is not back-lit, which should have been $20.00 cheaper. The remote works great, it just would have been nice to get what I paid for.
Summary: I really liked the original Lenovo multimedia remote with the ball tracker (N5901). I upgraded to this because I wanted the back lit keyboard and to make it quieter without the ball tracker. However, the range on this one seems to be quite a bit less than the older model. Also, the digital tracker on this is not great. You have to push buttons on it to wake up the keyboard and then the mouse tracker will work. The back light is NOT automatic either.
Summary: First start by saying I was sent the wrong keyboard 3 times! Was sent the one without the backlit keyboard (lesser model) despite having spoken with Amazon directly to try and get it sorted out. Last one they admitted there whole stock was wrong. The box UPC says non-backlit and the bag it's wrapped in says backlit.
Summary: Got this because a friend had one. For the most part, works great. Only downside, the scroll bar "zone" beneath the optical sensor barely made it a year before it started acting up. You go to adjust the volume when the baby goes to sleep, only to have the volume radically jump all over the place, from 0 to 200%. Otherwise, good product.
Summary: I've used the Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Backlit Keyboard for few days, but it never worked correctly, it was very unreliable. From the start I had issues with distance, it worked only few feet away and sometimes up to 10', but never 32' as advertised. It would stop working for no reason and when I turn it off and back on it would not work till I unplugged and plug back in the USB dongle.
