Summary: This remote solved my Macbook Pro Retina remote problem immediately upon it's arrival. Within three minutes of opening the packaging, I was up and running without having to read any directions or install any software. It took me a few moments to learn how to manipulate the cursor on the screen, but after I did, all was well with the world.
Summary: Works well for us. Preacher uses this remote to advance his own slides during the sermon. We keep the receiver in the line of sight but sometimes the speaker doesn't hold the remote where the line of sight is unobstructed, yet it still works anyway (receiver is about 50' away). Batteries seem to last a good long time, but we do turn it off after each use. It's been about 2 months and first set of batteries are still in it.
Summary: I run a monthly internationally web meeting/conference call which would require me to get up from my chair and go to the lecturn sometimes to flip to certain slides in the presentations. By using this device I can stay at my seat and manage if necessary. Works great truely a plug-n-play with no software to load. The receiver fits into the back of the device so it is very compact and less likely to lose the receiver.
Summary: Owned a few remotes over the years, always seemed to be a problem with Mac OS X (whether the remote didn't work at all OR the remote worked only sporadically, losing connection from the remote to my laptop). For all of you Mac users out there, this remote works perfectly with Mac OS X 10.8.4 (most current version at the time I write this). THe range of this remote is terrific, 30-40 ft (I have not tested it at further distances) is not a problem.
Summary: I had an old Keyspan remote that just finally wore out. I was unsure about buying another one, because I had such good luck with the old one and hated to part with it!! The new one is just as good if not better. It works very well, and definitely has the quality that I was looking for. Spend the money on this one, you won't be sorry. I use this almost every day. When I'm not using it for work, I use it for my home theater.
Summary: I was looking for a presentation remote that had mouse capabilities. This remote works perfect and exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a presentation remote that house the mouse capabilities this is a must have.
Summary: I recently purchased this product to replace a SMK-Link RemotePoint Navigator 2.4 Premium Presentation Remote and Laser Pointer (VP4150) which had survived four years of very rough service admirably. While I was very pleased with the range and reliability of the SMK-Link product, I ordered this because of several handy features it has, including a mouse pointer, volume control, scroll knob, and "F5" key, which are not available on most other presentation remotes.
