CyberLink Infrared Remote Control

The CyberLink Infrared Remote Control has been made to operate multiple applications. It can be used to control the TV, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. Advanced Blu-ray disc menus can be accessed as well using the PowerDVD Ultra (builds 3516 and later) and PowerDVD 8. The design of this remote has been improved to fit in nicely as promoted by its company. Certain areas have been improved in this infrared remote control. There’s a new buttons layout and well as a slightly different design of its layout. Some shortcuts buttons such as the buttons to download TV guides, launch live TV, open your recorded TV folder, or launch DVD playback have been improved and upgraded at the same time. This CyberLink remote has been noted to be the only infrared remote around that works with both Windows XP Home and Pro.

Features

The layout consists a number of navigation and command buttons. The 'select' button, lets you chose multiple items, is situated by the navigation and command pads. It has 8 direction keys which among them include the 4 diagonal arrows that allow for items to be selected within a particular folder. A top menu button is there to help call the interactive features from Blu-ray discs. Color key buttons which is said to allow quick access to pre-defined sections of a Blu-ray Disc and call specific sections of Teletext (for TV) is also featured on the layout. A new USB infrared receiver is included with its USB key dimensions. It measures at the size of 4.5cm and is said to measure 3cm when it is connected. It is applicable to be used on notebooks and digital home entertainment PCs.
