Great during the warranty period... Then it becomes a wine warmer

Summary: We had our wine cooler for just over one year. It held standard-sized bottles well enough, had nice lighting within the fridge, and looked as a wine fridge should look. Then, one day, we came home and the temperature gauge read 78 degrees! To verify the temperature (and make sure that the numbers were not in error), we placed a standalone thermometer in the wine fridge. The reading was correct.
Summary: Received this wine cooler and the shipping had no damage and the setup was easy. Now that it is plugged in and working, it is quiet and holding the right temperature. My old wine fridge was a Heier brand fridge and it was a lemon from day one. I will not buy another Heier brand fridge. This one is just the right size too.
Summary: Nice little cooler...good looking.....quiet.....and keeps wine at 52 degrees.....I like having a lock on it too. I take reds out to warm a few minutes and put whites in refrigerator for a few minutes before serving. Very satisfactory storing arrangement for my mix of wines. Even the taller occasional wine and champagne bottles seem to fit in my cooler. The price is right and it works fine.
Summary: Have had this for about a month now. Keeps a steady temp at 55 and is very quiet. Had a dent in the back of the unit when it arrived but not enough to affect the performance. Otherwise, glad I bought it.
Summary: I've had this for more than a year now and it has done its job almost perfectly. Only negative is bottle size issues but almost all coolers have that problem and I just lay them in a different direction. Unit is not too loud and has kept wines at optimum temperature.
Summary: Would not power on. Whynter WC-16S SNO 16 Bottle Wine Cooler, Platinum with Lock Seller resolved issue, power switch not wired so it clicked on with out powering on light or cooler. Whynter gave me grief on phone and e mail. Seller resolved issue.
