  • Summary: "This unit fit perfectly into the space I had for a small kitchenette. It appears to be very functional for its size and it looks very nice.
  • Pros: Nicely designed for a small space like I have.

Not for everybody

  • Summary: This is a competent, basic refrigerator that is constructed well but I wouldn't recommend it for anything but the smallest families or for singles or couples. It might be great in a small vacation cabin. I built a small cottage to live in while we finished a bigger house. I framed an opening for a so called, apartment-size refrigerator we already owned but had never used. What a mistake on all levels!

Poor construction, noisy

  • Summary: I was quite hopeful that this fridge would be a nice size upgrade from my 24" x 24" danby. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after I got in in place that I realized all that was wrong with it: - the second to top door tray (the tallest one), won't stay in. any pressure against it and it falls out and everything with it - somewhat noisy. more noise than I'd expect out of a fridge in this price range - my cabinet layout forced me to switch the hinges on the door.

Good Fit for the Size

  • Summary: This is a shallow refrigerator but perfect for my NYC apt with a galley kitchen. The height allows for some more space but don't expect to stock up at Costco and store a large volume with this unit. The con is that it can be very noisey when the motor goes on. And I find I have to set the temperature a bit higher than mid-range to keep milk from spoiling prematurely or ice cream from melting.

  • Summary: this compact refrigerator is exactly what we hoped for. perfect counter depth and more room inside than you would expect. my sister-in-law will probably get one too, now that she's seen mine. the store personnel were very helpful. delivery was perfect. will certainly use this company again. i have my eye on the small washer & dryer they carry.

Trim and Sleek

Small Flat, Big Life, AJ Madison

  • Summary: This refrigerator fits right into a small kitchen with a slightly European look. It is definitely counter depth. The picture does not give all the details: the handle is in the top of the refrigerator compartment door/ bottom of freezer which makes a more compact exterior. The clear door shelves are sturdy. One crisper drawer, it sticks a little and tapers in back to give less room.

Refrigerator Review for Summit FF1320W

JRS, AJ Madison
25 January 2008
  • Summary: The drawers do not slide in and out very well. The plastic condiment shelve piece in the door is weak and falls off occasionally causing your condiments to break and spill on the ground. Company very quick to send a plastic shelve piece as a replacement, which seems to work a little better. When putting the top shelve in the highest rack, it is a quarter inch to high to move a gallon jug of milk from one side of the shelve to the other (under the light).
